Brazen Operator

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Assemble and braze job to the specifications given by the drawing and work order.
• Bring jobs to tank for cleaning.
• Retrieve items from the WIP lane and place it on table.
• Assemble header pipes, header stubs, connections per drawings.
• Use of brazing torch to braze material.
• Collaborate with other employees on safety/quality/production/delivery.
• Ability to take on other duties or assist in other departments as department needs change.
• Clean area to 5S standards.

Required Skills

• Able to safely lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
• Able to stand for long periods & stoop/bend frequently.
• Ability to accurately read drawings.
• Must be able to walk to deliver jobs to the citric bath at least once an hour.
• Must be able to step up and down onto the table platform several times an hour.
• Must be able to move arm, hand, and fingers in many directions.
• Able to see details at a close range for long periods.
• Possessing excellent manual dexterity & hand stability for precision & mirror work
• Team player
• Verbal communication skills
• Possess a basic understanding of math.
• Able to follow directions of supervisor or lead.
• Open to constructive criticism
• Possessing a positive attitude in the face of challenges
