As an Activities Assistant at Saint Mary Home , you'll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. Through thoughtfully designed recreational, social, emotional, and spiritual programs, you'll help create moments of joy, connection, and purpose-supporting each resident's unique care plan while encouraging social engagement, physical activity, and lifelong learning.

What You'll Do

• Create Connection - Foster a welcoming, calm environment where residents feel valued, engaged, and supported.
• Support Meaningful Activities - Assist residents with daily activities and transportation, ensuring participation is safe, enjoyable, and tailored to individual needs.
• Encourage Engagement - Observe and support resident involvement, helping everyone feel included and connected.
• Stay Organized & Safe - Maintain clean, organized activity spaces and follow all safety protocols.
• Grow with Us - Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with team members to continuously improve resident experiences.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Experience in long-term care or working with individuals with dementia (preferred)
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
• A positive, adaptable mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
