Job Details Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 07:00 - 19:00 Shifts Per Week: 3 Weekly Hours: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,900 - $2,000 Start Date: 10/19/2026 End Date: 1/18/2027 Setting: Acute care telemetry / neuro telemetry unit Charting System: Epic Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating: May be required based on unit needs Location: Spokane, WA 99204 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission Minimum of 1 year of relevant acute care nursing experience required Telemetry nursing experience required Neuro experience preferred, including comfort with post-surgical neurology patients and varied neurological diagnoses Experience with Epic EMR required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Ability to manage an average 1:4 patient ratio Comfortable working in a high-acuity hospital environment Willingness to work every other weekend and float when needed Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry and neurology patients in an acute care setting Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Care for post-surgical neurology patients and patients with complex neurological diagnoses Complete routine assessments, document accurately in Epic, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team Perform and interpret the NIH Stroke Scale and support stroke-focused patient care Manage common neuro/tele needs such as BiPAP/CPAP support, chest tube care, and pre-/post-neurosurgery monitoring as applicable Support safe patient transitions and coordinate care with other hospital services Float to nearby units or sister facilities when needed to meet patient care demands Apply now for this travel Telemetry Registered Nurse opportunity in Spokane, Washington, and join a team that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and quality patient care.
