Salary: $30 - $48/hr

Washington Outpatient Surgery Center, LLC (WOSC) is a free-standing multi-specialty center with five operating rooms and two procedure rooms, open Monday through Friday. Job Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in multidisciplinary procedures
• Assemble supplies and equipment for scheduled GI procedures
• Aid in room turnovers, patient positioning, andpreparing forfollowing day cases
• Inspect equipment and instruments for proper working condition
• Maintain availability of instruments and supplies to avoid delays
• Correctly use, care for, and sterilize instruments, supplies, and equipment as directed
• Extensive ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to applicable procedures
• Assist in storing and stocking supplies in theprocedure rooms

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED Certification
• Endoscopy Certification SGNA recognized preferred

Qualifications and Skills

• GI or ASC experience, 2 years preferred
• Familiarity with procedural instruments and equipment
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods; ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Ability to communicate effectively andpromote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, and general public
• Ability to be punctual, make decisions, and solve problems
