As an Armed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor visitor, employee, and vehicle access; document observations and incidents; and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
