The incoming Director will join an established leadership structure that includes a supervisor and leads, providing a supportive framework to help manage daily operations, guide staff, and advance departmental goals. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.QualificationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology or degree and experience required to meet Technical Supervisor role for general Laboratory testing (Hematology, Chemistry and Microbiology) as designated by CLIA Education Desired:Training in Administrative Field of managementMaster’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Health Care AdministrationExperience Requirements:Four years of recent laboratory experienceExperience Desired:Eight+ years of experience in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical TechnologyPrior experience supervising multiple laboratory sections or teamsLicense and Certification Requirements:MLS/MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA) or equivalentQualification as CLIA Laboratory Director or ability to meet CLIA LD requirements, preferredSkill Requirements:Experience working in a laboratory including previous leadership. Knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control and regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Computer expertise sufficient to support departmental requirements, including LIS oversight, data integrity, and interface management. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
