CAD Technician

Director of Civil Engineering Services Wixom, MI Responsibilities Design and approve residential, commercial and high tech projects including detailed engineering and construction document preparation and as-built documents. Assist senior engineering staff in design and drawing preparation of residential, commercial and high tech projects, including detailed engineering and construction document preparation and as-built documents. Perform field-related land surveying activities: boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, as-built surveys and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys. Maintain satisfactory field records, site safety, project timelines and communication with office staff. Use AutoCAD Land Development Desktop and/or Civil 3D for detailed engineering and as-built document preparation for commercial and residential developments. Qualifications 10-15 years of experience in land development – residential and commercial. BS in Civil Engineering and Professional Engineer license. 3+ years of civil engineering experience, BS in Civil Engineering – EIT preferred. 2+ years of experience in field surveying with robotic and GPS instrumentation. 1+ year of experience in development – residential or commercial. Capable of managing multiple priorities with a strong deadline orientation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work on a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
