Procurement Specialist

Location: West Metro

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000

Our client, a growing company in the west metro, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong experience in vendor negotiations, strategic sourcing, and purchasing operations . The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth by building strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials, goods, and services needed across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing, contract terms, and service agreements
• Manage sourcing and procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to support business needs and growth initiatives
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and monitor supplier performance
• Partner with internal teams to understand purchasing needs, timelines, and budget considerations
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier options to drive cost savings and value
• Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Resolve vendor-related issues involving pricing, quality, shipping, or service levels
• Support inventory planning and procurement reporting as needed
• Ensure purchasing practices align with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing
• Proven success with vendor negotiations and supplier management
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, purchasing systems, and contract terms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing, changing environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel preferred
