Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Travel: Overnight travel may be required 1–2 times per month
On-Call: After-hours and weekend availability is highly beneficial but not required

Are you the person who can walk into a maintenance issue, figure out what’s wrong, and get it fixed?

We’re looking for a Mobile Maintenance Technician to support multiple facilities throughout the assigned territory. This is a hands-on, highly versatile position for someone who enjoys variety and brings a team-first attitude, strong safety mindset, and solid troubleshooting skills .

You don’t need to be an expert in every trade. We’re looking for someone with a strong general maintenance foundation and working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and building systems .

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance across multiple facilities

• Handle minor plumbing repairs including leaks, fixtures, and clogged drains

• Perform basic electrical repairs involving switches, outlets, receptacles, lighting, bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures

• Complete carpentry and building repairs including doors, hardware, cabinetry, drywall, and painting

• Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting, including thermostats, filters, temperature, and airflow issues

• Complete and document work orders using a CMMS/computerized maintenance management system

• Conduct facility inspections and identify issues requiring additional repair or contractor support

• Travel between multiple facilities and efficiently manage daily service routes

• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies while maintaining excellent service

• Safely operate and maintain an assigned company vehicle

• Assist with snow and ice removal, debris cleanup, and maintaining safe building access

• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in a safe and organized condition

• Communicate clearly with managers, team members, contractors, and facility personnel

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities

• Commercial or residential maintenance experience will be considered

• Working knowledge of multiple trades, including:

  • Plumbing

  • Electrical

  • Carpentry

  • HVAC

  • General building maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently while being a dependable team player

• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures

• Experience with CMMS/work order systems

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Basic computer, tablet, and mobile device skills

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record

• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on maintenance position. Candidates must be comfortable with:

• Lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. independently

• Lifting heavier items with assistance, team lifts, carts, hoists, or other mechanical devices

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling

• Climbing ladders and working from elevated platforms

• Accessing tight or confined spaces when required

• Working in heat, cold, noise, dust, and other typical facility environments

• Wearing required PPE for extended periods

• Safely maneuvering tools, equipment, and materials throughout facilities

Travel & On-Call

The normal schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM , based on area needs. Overnight travel may be required approximately 1–2 times per month .

Candidates who are willing to assist with after-hours or weekend on-call coverage will be highly beneficial to the team. On-call availability is not required, but flexibility is valued.
