Job Title: Research Coordinator (Family Medicine & Rural Health - College of Medicine) Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 60894 Department Family Medicine & Rural Health - College of Medicine Responsibilities Monitors the progress of research activities; develops and maintains records of research activities, and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports, as required by investigators, administrators, and Chair of the department. Coordinates and assesses administrative, programmatic, and operational activities of Faculty. This position will assist the Principal Investigator, project leads, and project teams with all aspects of research by coordinating and supporting daily operation of projects, internal grants, and start up labs. Plans and coordinates administrative research support. Processes foundation disbursements, purchase orders and memberships, ensuring all documents are prepared, signed, distributed, and meet deadlines in accordance with FSU policies and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.) This position requires successful completion of the eSPEAR Certification Series within the first six months of hire.
