Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect facility operations, infrastructure, or personnel, following established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
