About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Medical Surgical/Tele experience - IV insertion Description: Providing quality health care to surrounding areas for over 60 years. Employs more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission and governed by a local board of trustees. The facility has a 167-bed healthcare capacity and holds Level III Trauma Center status. All clinical staff on assignment in the state must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to the start date. Results are required before starting the assignment. The position is in an environment that serves all ages. Equipment includes Omnicell for medication dispensing and EHR is Meditech. The candidate will report to the Nursing Director. The patient population includes a range of ages from geriatric to pediatric. Every other weekend hours may be required as needed. Call requirements are as needed. Candidates must demonstrate a professional demeanor throughout their work. Casual wear is not acceptable in terms of dress code. The position is a replacement for permanent staff.
