Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an enthusiastic School Age Group Teacher to join our growing community! Our goal is to inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child. Responsibilities Create an engaging classroom where children can explore, question, and discover. Design hands‑on lessons that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond. Foster strong relationships with families through communication and collaboration. Support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. Requirements Must be at least 19 years of age and meet state licensing requirements. 90 clock hours of training for the State of Maryland or 6 semester hours of early childhood education coursework. CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Prior experience in a licensed childcare center. A passion for early childhood education and helping children learn and grow.
