Location : 1 Clara Maass Drive, Belleville, NJ 07109 Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Facility : Clara Maass Medical Center Department : Emergency Department Shift : Day (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) Pay Range : $46.48 – $62.09 per hour (actual compensation will depend on education, skills, and experience) Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. The Medical Center recently completed a state‑of‑the‑art campus expansion, including a new 87,000‑sq‑ft building, a 32‑bed Intensive Care Unit, and an expanded Emergency Department. Qualifications Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred Experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry and/or Emergency Room nursing Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Certifications and Licenses Required BLS and ACLS Certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 37.5 hours per week (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation Essential Functions Provide nursing care in accordance with the scope of practice, the Nurse Practice Act, and regulatory standards. Ensure patient safety and uphold evidence‑based practice, including continuous learning and knowledge sharing with the care team. Report safety concerns such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Maintain knowledge of the patient population served by the Emergency Department. Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other health‑care providers. Set priorities and evaluate interventions with measurable outcomes for improvement. Act as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to deliver individualized patient care plans.
