You'll manage a diverse emergency and urgent care caseload, providing rapid assessment, stabilization, diagnostics, treatment, and ongoing patient management. Cases may include trauma, toxicities, respiratory emergencies, gastrointestinal presentations, endocrine crises, acute medical conditions, surgical emergencies, and critically unwell hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include:
• Emergency triage, stabilization, and treatment planning
• Managing medical and surgical emergency presentations
• Performing emergency procedures and surgery within your experience level
• Overseeing hospitalized and postoperative patients
• Utilizing digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house diagnostics
• Developing appropriate treatment and pain-management plans
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients during stressful situations
• Collaborating closely with technicians, assistants, and fellow veterinarians
• Contributing to case discussions and continuous clinical improvement
• Supporting students and developing veterinarians through mentorship where appropriate Compensation & Benefits
