Kennel Associate

Job Title
Job Summary: Assist DVM and other hospital staff by providing direct care and maintenance of kennel, hospital and surroundings, feeding and general husbandry of boarding pets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must treat animals with care and respect
- Must enjoy keeping pets and environment clean
- Must be able to communicate with clients and hospital staff
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Dependable attendance
- Any allergies to animals must be controlled through medication
- Must be able to fit 40 pounds
- Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions
- Must be able to maintain accurate written and digital records
Duties:
- Client Relations
- Nursing Care
- Housekeeping and Maintenance of Hospital
Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour depending on experience
