Senior Admissions RN - Command Center

Description The Senior Admissions RN is responsible for coordinating admissions and bed placement for patients requiring admission from all areas, including emergency departments, direct admits, surgical spaces, and transfers. The role includes chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria, ensuring appropriate bed placement and coordination. The RN collaborates with nursing, physicians, EVS, clinical resource office, Administrative Supervisor, Leadership, and other facilities to define, reduce, and eliminate barriers that impede patient flow and access. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: Applicants without a BSN must actively pursue and attain a BSN within two years of hire. Continued employment by Swedish beyond two years is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License 5 years of RN experience in either ED, ICU, and/or 5 years acute care inpatient nursing. Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
