Focusing on transactional legal work, the full-time Healthcare Corporate Counsel will draft, edit, and negotiate complex commercial agreements while advising on legal issues at the intersection of healthcare and technology, with opportunities to work remotely or in a hybrid environment in Chicago. Key responsibilities Assist with drafting, editing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements across various business lines Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate legal risks and opportunities related to healthcare, biotech, and life sciences projects Support general legal work in areas such as intellectual property, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance Required qualifications JD Degree 4+ years of relevant healthcare transactional experience at an established law firm or in-house role Strong familiarity with healthcare regulatory environment, including HIPAA and data privacy regulations Current bar membership in at least one state Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with impeccable judgment in evaluating legal risks
