Description:
Unit notes and hiring process include a profile review and an interview with the unit manager.
Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if the first day is remote.
The unit performs an average of 30 cases per day.
Required certifications include BLS and Certified Surgical Technologist via NBSTSA.
The average number of cases per day is 30.
The total call requirement is 120 hours per contract, which can be self-scheduled between weekdays and weekends.
One weekend shift is required every six weeks.
Preferred call response time is 30 minutes, with a sleep room available on site if needed.
There are no floating requirements, but staff may float within the designated zones if there is an extreme need.
Scrubs are provided for staff.
The charting system used is EPIC.
The role does not require a BSN.
The trauma level and care setting is acute.
