MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ARMRIT certification accepted (client will accept AMRIT).
• Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification as required by client.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Experience with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems. Familiarity with Siemens 1.5T is preferred as a Siemens unit is anticipated on site.
• Experience using EPIC charting system.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule as described by client.
• TX license not required per client; candidates from other states may apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospital or health system setting.
• Prior week-long Monday-to-Monday on-call experience or equivalent call coverage experience.
• Experience covering extended call shifts and responding to occasional call-backs (approximately 2-4 times per month on average).

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Monday-Friday schedule, 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. (evening shift).
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Orientation hours: 12 hours.
• On-call rotation: week-long call from Monday to Monday. Typical call hours include M-F 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. and weekend coverage that involves 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.-7:00 a.m. schedules as described by client.
• Call rotation currently approximately once per month; frequency may change based on staffing.
• Daily parking fee applies; multiple monthly parking options available.
