LPN / LVN - Inpatient Rehabilitation Travel Nurse Job in Dallas, TX


Join a supportive inpatient rehabilitation team in Dallas, Texas, and help adult patients regain strength, independence, and quality of life after stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.


This 13-week travel LPN/LVN assignment offers a consistent daytime schedule, a collaborative med-surg and rehab care environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact every shift.


Job Details

• Location: Dallas, TX 75237
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,010-$1,060
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM-7:15 PM
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation / med-surg environment
• Patient Population: Adult rehabilitation patients
• Unit Size: 50-bed facility with a focused, team-oriented care model
• Start Date: 9/28/2026

Job Requirements

• Active LPN or LVN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; acute care experience preferred
• Rehabilitation nursing or med-surg experience strongly preferred
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Warm, professional demeanor with a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult rehabilitation patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting
• Support patients recovering from stroke, amputation, major surgeries, and other complex conditions
• Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and communicate changes to the care team
• Assist with medication administration and routine nursing interventions within scope of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized recovery goals
• Use clinical equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and bariatric beds as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate environment for patients and families
