Occupational Therapist – Outpatient / Home Health

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shift | Primarily Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in outpatient and home health settings, with occasional inpatient coverage
• Treat patients in accordance with Occupational Therapy Practice Guidelines as issued by the American Occupational Therapy Association, following physician referral
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary manner with other departments to deliver quality patient care
• Maintain a focus on patient safety and quality throughout all aspects of care delivery
• Demonstrate proficiency in the electronic medical record system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the state of Montana
• Knowledge of and adherence to OT Practice Guidelines as established by the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Ability to work across outpatient, home health, and inpatient care settings
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and clinical documentation standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in outpatient and/or home health occupational therapy settings
• Experience with interdisciplinary care team collaboration
