General Production Worker
Work in a team of three to operate coating or slitting machines. Assist and shadow operators during the initial contract period. Utilize computerized controls for machine operation. Apply mechanical skills to troubleshoot and make small adjustments during production. Handle heavy rolls of material with forklift assistance, with training provided if necessary.
Minimum of 1 year of recent machine operating experience, ideally 2 years. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot. Computer literacy. Experience with forklifts, coating machines, slitter machines, overhead cranes, and troubleshooting.
Machine troubleshooting capabilities are advantageous. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Prior experience in a coating or slitting company is a plus.

Work on a rotating schedule, (NO WEEKENDS!) alternating every other week between days (7 AM - 7 PM) and nights (7 PM - 7 AM), with shifts lasting 3 or 4 days. Enjoy paid breaks, including two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch during the 12-hour shifts.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, MA. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
