Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse specified location. This role involves providing critical care in a high-volume emergency department with a capacity of treating over 40 patients daily. The position requires skilled clinicians capable of managing a range of urgent medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); 2 years of emergency room experience required.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Manage a diverse patient population with common diagnoses including abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain. Perform duties such as troubleshooting ventilators, Cpap, BiPap, high-flow oxygen devices, and reading monitors when required.
  • Operational Details: Charge nurse takes assignments, self-scheduling and block scheduling are available, with a requirement of working at least six weekend shifts every six weeks. Holiday work required. Float within Zone 1 may be necessary during extreme needs.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to participate in a week of orientation in the state prior to assignment start. Proper licensing and submitted documentation are necessary for consideration.
