We are looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant who is dependable, calm under pressure, and takes pride in doing things the right way—every time. This person should be eager to support our doctors, help patients feel comfortable, and contribute to an organized, high-performing clinical team. Schedule * Full-time position * 4-day work week * No evenings * No weekends * Shifts typically begin at 6:30am with first patients arriving at 7:00am What You'll Do * Assist the doctor chairside during restorative and general dentistry procedures with efficiency and professionalism * Prepare operatories, instruments, materials, and rooms to ensure smooth patient flow * Take high-quality diagnostics including X-rays, intraoral photos, digital scans, impressions, and other records as needed * Maintain accurate, timely charting and clinical notes with strong attention to detail * Support sterilization, room turnover, infection control, and clinical organization * Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their appointment * Provide clear, thorough handoffs to the business team to ensure a seamless patient experience What We're Looking For * Dental assisting experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate) * Reliable, punctual, and able to handle early mornings with a positive attitude * Calm, focused, and efficient in a fast-paced clinical environment * Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and clinical excellence * Friendly, team-first personality with a coachable mindset and desire to grow * Someone who takes pride in delivering a "wow" patient experience every day Bonus Skills (Not Required) * Expanded functions / coronal polishing * Digital dentistry experience (scanners, CBCT, intraoral cameras) * Invisalign / restorative workflow familiarity * Strong systems mindset and love for organization Why You'll Love Working Here * A supportive, growth-minded team culture * Modern technology and high clinical standards * A practice that values people—patients and team members * A place where your role truly matters and your effort is noticed Company Description Markiewicz Dental is a family-owned practice in Mundelein, IL dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art dentistry with a small-town feel.
