Responsibilities
Safely operate box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles to deliver goods to customers across designated routes
Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly
Assist in warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock, and organizing storage areas
Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update logs, and communicate with the team effectively
Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items
Requirements
Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker, with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vans or box trucks is highly preferred
Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries
Physical ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly
Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication purposes
