Process and Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Process & Quality Engineer to drive manufacturing efficiency, improve product quality, and reduce operational costs within a fast-paced production environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on optimizing manufacturing processes, increasing throughput, reducing downtime, and delivering measurable improvements across filling and packaging operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
• 5+ years of process, manufacturing, or quality engineering experience
• Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, or Chemical Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, PFMEA, Cp/Cpk, Gage R&R, and Root Cause Analysis
• Experience driving measurable process improvements and cost savings
• Strong manufacturing floor presence with hands-on process optimization experience

What You'll Be Doing:

• Analyze production data to identify process improvement opportunities
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, throughput, and equipment performance
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Reduce scrap, waste, defects, and downtime
• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
• Develop process controls and quality standards
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up efforts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Packaging or filling equipment experience
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience
• Experience improving OEE, throughput, and production efficiency
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills
