Proof Advertising is looking for a Social Creator & Producer who lives at the intersection of ideas, culture and making things. The role blends creative thinking, content planning and hands-on production. We’re looking for someone who knows what’s happening across platforms and is just as excited to brainstorm an idea as they are to plan the shoot and make it happen.

The right person is curious, collaborative and always paying attention to what people are watching, sharing and talking about. They’ll brainstorm content, produce photo and video shoots, create content themselves and bring a social-first perspective to the work from the very beginning.

Key Responsibilities

• Brainstorm social ideas and develop concepts with art directors, copywriters, designers and other creative partners.
• Translate campaign ideas into content designed for specific social platforms and audiences.
• Keep up with social trends, platform updates and new content formats, and bring relevant ideas to the team.
• Plan and prepare for social photography and video shoots, including shot lists, schedules, locations, props, talent and production logistics.
• Work hands-on during shoots by operating a camera when needed, guiding creators or other talent and coordinating production details.
• Work closely with creative and account teams to keep social projects aligned with the brief, the client’s brand and deadlines.
• Review content, coordinate revisions and manage handoffs through approval and publication.
• Use content performance, audience response and other insights from the social team to improve future plans and ideas.
• Contribute to agency marketing, new business and internal creative projects when needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising, visual communication or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in social content strategy, content creation, social production or a related role. Agency experience is a plus.
• A portfolio or examples of social content you helped plan, produce or publish, with a clear explanation of your contribution.
• Experience managing content calendars and coordinating multiple projects, deadlines and collaborators.
• Strong understanding of major social platforms, their content formats and how platform changes affect creative work.
• Experience preparing for photography or video shoots and working with creators or other talent.
• Comfort operating a camera and contributing directly to social photo or video production.
• Ability to develop ideas with creative partners and adapt concepts for different clients and audiences.
• Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment and strong organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of creator ecosystems, cultural trends, and platform dynamics
• A social media native with a deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other major social platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in art direction, graphic design, advertising, visual communication or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a remote agency setting.

Work Environment

Proof Advertising is a 100% remote company. Regular business hours are Monday

through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Employees must be available and responsive

during those hours. Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required

for urgent client needs, presentations or production schedules. Candidates preferably in the Austin area.
