Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Eureka, Kansas
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Variable Nights
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of LTC facility experience and be comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established care plans.
- Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Assist with assessments, care planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Perform routine nursing procedures within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
- Respond appropriately to changes in residents' conditions and clinical needs.
- Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality resident care.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility .
- LPN Diploma required.
- Active Kansas LPN license or valid multistate license .
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- IV Certification preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced long-term care environment.
