Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and ARDMS or ARRT certification for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Arkansas.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department with exams performed in the department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 11:30 PM to 10:00 AM, Tuesday through Friday; facility may consider 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call rotation required with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sonographer
• Current ARDMS or ARRT certification required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Arkansas Radiology license in good standing required (license required if applicable)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs with proper body mechanics
• Must be able to perform sonography exams for 8+ hours and handle critical, high-stress situations effectively
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• This position is designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana; the facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana and CBD products — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
