Please be aware that some schedules may include up to six days a week.Shift schedule of 2nd or 3rd shift to be determined during orientation and based on availability and business needAbility and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysKey AccountabilitiesAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:Forklift and high reach equipment operation within production, warehouse, and distribution centerSelecting, preparing, and loading product for outbound shipment per customer specificationsResponsible for the storage of raw material, ingredients or finished productReceiving, unloading, and inspecting inbound ingredients/packaging materialsParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesPerform additional task as neededMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of high school education or GEDForklift license/certification or willing to obtain oneExperience in a manufacturing/production environment preferredMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergensEligibilityApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
