Shift: 5:30 PM – 1:30 AM (1730–0130)

Secure Net Alliance is currently hiring dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Unarmed Security Officers for a residential community in Santa Ana, California .

This is an active patrol position. Approximately 90% of the shift involves walking and patrolling the property , so applicants must be comfortable remaining on their feet and walking for extended periods of time.

We are seeking officers who can maintain a professional security presence while interacting respectfully with residents, guests, property management, and community staff.

POSITION DETAILS

• Position: Unarmed Security Officer
• Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
• Employment: Full-Time and Part-Time
• Shift: 5:30 PM – 1:30 AM
• Environment: Residential Community
• Patrol Requirement: Approximately 90% walking patrol

RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Officers assigned to this property will be responsible for:

• Conducting frequent foot patrols throughout the residential community
• Performing and documenting scheduled Detex patrols
• Monitoring the property for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
• Answering the assigned security phone and responding to resident or staff concerns as needed
• Interacting professionally with residents, guests, vendors, property staff, and management
• Providing a visible and professional security presence throughout the community
• Investigating and responding to noise complaints
• Addressing unauthorized persons and removing or directing trespassers from the property in accordance with company and client procedures
• Monitoring parking areas and identifying parking violations
• Issuing parking citations according to client-established procedures
• Following the client's established towing procedures
• Monitoring entrances, exits, common areas, parking areas, and other designated locations
• Documenting incidents, patrol activity, complaints, and enforcement actions
• Completing accurate Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
• Contacting supervisors, property management, law enforcement, or emergency services when appropriate
• Following all Secure Net Alliance post orders, policies, and client-specific procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a significant amount of walking.

Applicants must be able to:

• Walk for extended periods throughout an 8-hour shift
• Regularly patrol multiple areas of a residential property
• Stand for extended periods when necessary
• Navigate stairs, sidewalks, parking areas, and common areas
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions as required

Candidates who are specifically seeking a primarily seated security position should not apply for this assignment .

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

• Possess a valid California BSIS Guard Card
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have reliable transportation to and from Santa Ana
• Be able to reliably work the 5:30 PM – 1:30 AM shift
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Arrive fully uniformed and ready for duty at the scheduled start time
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Be comfortable communicating with residents and property staff
• Be capable of writing clear and accurate security reports
• Be comfortable handling complaints and potentially confrontational situations professionally
• Be willing to enforce property rules consistently and respectfully
• Be able to follow written post orders and supervisory instructions
• Be comfortable working independently for portions of the shift
• Be able to remain professional during stressful or challenging interactions

COMPENSATION

$19.00 – $20.00 per hour

Starting compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, availability, and assignment requirements.
