Job Title: Operating Room Circulator Profession: RN Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a trauma operating room License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Level 2 or higher trauma operating room circulating experience - Robotics experience - Orthopedic trauma experience - Neurosurgery experience Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. No heart experience is necessary. Call requirements include 1 call per week and every sixth weekend. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services is essential. Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel is crucial.
