Join our Environment and Health department and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Air Quality Managing Consultant, you will be part of Ramboll’s Air Sciences Group, which is part of Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division. This group consists of people who are passionate about air quality and assist Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. The Air Sciences Group consults with clients across various industries and geographies on a range of topics, including but not limited to air permitting, emissions estimation, regulatory enforcement matters and compliance, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, climate action planning, climate adaptation/resiliency, sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting these topics within the Chemical and/or Pharmaceutical sectors.The successful candidate will have experience managing consulting assignments, must work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, is expected to be proficient in the analysis and communication of information, and must be able to work cooperatively with agencies, organizations, and individuals to guide decision-making. They are expected to be proficient in all facets of project management. They must demonstrate a commitment to mentoring and developing Consultant and Senior Consultant level staff and to collaborating with colleagues throughout the Practice.Your key responsibilities will include:Preparing air quality permit applicationsConducting air permitting/compliance regulatory reviewsManaging projects and serving as the technical lead overseeing and training Consultant and Senior Consultant level staff on complex projectsManaging client relationships and the development of deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient mannerCritically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations, permitting, compiling, and drafting regulatory applicability determinations, and communicating findings, to co-workers, clients, and regulatory agenciesConducting site visitsMaintaining regular contact with clients and developing proposals for environmental compliance related workResponsible for the preparation of plans, reports, permit applications and other project documents; lead technical evaluations of data commensurate with experienceManage the technical, schedule and budgetary elements of projectsYour new teamAs part of the team, you will be part of a creative group, filled with people who are really excited about solving clients’ problems and creating sustainable solutions for them. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $158,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
