Qualifications

No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.

The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.

Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.

Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

Handles all donations with care and respect.

Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to designated areas.

Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.

Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and product type are loaded and shipped.

Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.

Efficiently move product from staging and storage areas into trailers.

Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, salvage, and trash, according to established guidelines.

Use machinery safely and appropriately to tip or compact designated products for sale or recycling.

Maintains high quality and high quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.

Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership.

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.

Keep appropriate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security.

Safeguards company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any incidents of theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, Risk Management, or employee hotline.

Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.

All other duties as assigned.
