Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Supervisor

Job Category: Registered Nurse Requisition Number: REGIS013631 Location Arbors at Streetsboro 1645 Maplewood Dr Streetsboro, OH 44241, USA Position Overview Weekend Supervisor RN. Shift options: 11:00a–11:00p or 12:00p–12:00a. Pay: $38–$48 per hour. Key Responsibilities Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans. Assess and document residents’ conditions and nursing needs. Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders. Assign nursing care to team members based on residents’ needs and staff capabilities. Supervise, direct, and evaluate LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs. Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents, documenting all treatments as required by company, local, state, and federal regulations. Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel. Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of the state-specified Nursing Practice Act. Ensure supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained safely. Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents. Coordinate nursing care of residents scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments. Interview applicants, recommend hires, and participate in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff as permitted by state practice act. Supervise the nursing unit, including scheduling and directing nursing staff as permitted by state practice act. Perform other tasks as assigned. Skills and Abilities Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce. Works cooperatively as a team member. Communicates effectively with residents, family members, and all organizational levels. Responds decisively and quickly in emergency situations. Knowledgeable in training techniques for clinical staff. Maintains confidentiality. Compensation Starting wages: $38–$48 per hour.
