Nurse Practitioner – Adult Inpatient Psychiatry
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Facility: NeuroDiagnostic Institute (NDI)
Assignment Type: Contract / Temporary
Start Date: ASAP - URGENT NEED
End Date: November 30, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 am to 2:30pm or 3pm EST
About the Opportunity
aFit Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) for an urgent opportunity with the NeuroDiagnostic Institute (NDI) in Indianapolis.
The NP will provide coverage for the adult inpatient units while a physician is out on leave. This is an immediate-need opportunity, and the facility will expedite the credentialing process for the selected candidate.
The NeuroDiagnostic Institute and Advanced Treatment Center is an inpatient psychiatric facility operated by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA). NDI provides evaluation and treatment for patients with complex neuropsychiatric illnesses.

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Setting: Adult inpatient psychiatric units
Start: ASAP
Assignment End Date: November 30, 2026
Reason for Need: Temporary coverage for a physician on leave
Credentialing: Expedited credentialing available
Opportunity: Contract / temporary assignment
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a qualified Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable working in an inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric setting and providing care to an adult patient population.
Additional requirements, schedule information, compensation, and credentialing requirements will be provided as they are finalized.
