Job Summary:
The operating room open heart nurse position is located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized cardiac surgical care in a high-volume environment. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
• Shift: Nights, 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of clinical experience in a Level 1 trauma center setting
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Licensure: Valid license to practice, or willingness to wait for licensure approval
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience highly preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Must have experience scrubbing and circulating cardiac cases including heart transplants, aortic dissections, coronary artery bypass grafts, and valve surgeries.
  • Expected to circulate other cases if cardiac cases are not scheduled.
  • Call may be required if gaps or swaps occur, at the discretion of management.
  • Weekend rotations may be scheduled.
