Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Location Eureka, CA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30) Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk OB cases and a culturally diverse patient population Circulate on cesarean sections as required Manage patient care across an average daily census of 15–20 patients Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities Adhere to weekend staffing requirements and commit to working assigned holidays as scheduled Required Qualifications Active California RN license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted) Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience Ability to work night shifts including weekends and select holidays Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler Must be able to commit to scheduling requests and RTO submissions upfront at time of submittal Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start Preferred Experience / Skills Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit caring for high-risk OB patients in a facility that values traveler contributions Communication devices required for the assignment are provided at no cost to the nurse
