Description Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Madison County, NY Schedule: Full-time, 1st Shift. No Nights, Weekends or Holidays *2,500 Sign-On Bonus* Wage: $26.00 Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to established treatment plans. Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy programs for people evaluated by the Physical Therapist. Follow and carry out treatment plans to support therapeutic goals and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care. Educate and train ancillary staff and caregivers on therapy techniques and program carryover. Support the integration of therapy programs into individuals' daily routines and activities. Complete accurate clinical documentation, billing records, and required insurance-related forms in a timely manner. Travel to community-based locations to provide therapy services as needed. Reports incidents, changes or concerns promptly to the Supervising Physical Therapist and Director of Clinic Services. Maintain professional licensure, comply with agency policies and regulatory requirements, and protect the confidentiality of individuals served.
