JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in EM
  
• Licenses: Licensed in WI or IMLC; Act 10 is acceptable
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  
• Clean record
  
• Local/Midwest-based are strongly preferred as it reduces travel issues in the winter.
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine coverage in Rhinelander and other regional hospitals in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
  
• Manage single coverage with occasional shift overlap, collaborating with APCs for double coverage.
  
• Assess, treat, and manage patients in the emergency department, including approximately 20% admission rate.
  
• Ensure compliance with hospital credentialing and maintain a clean NPDB file.
  
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff and support team to ensure quality patient care.
