Clinical Concierge - NCT with MA/LVN - Full time, Days

Clinical Concierge – NCT with MA/LVN – Denton Location: 4600 Teasley Lane, Denton, Texas 76210. (Position will float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations) Works hours: Full‑time, 3‑12 hour shifts per week (rotating days, weekends, holidays). Shift times: 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an approved NCT training program Completion of a Medical Assistant education program, or successful completion of a vocational nurse program Six months of previous health‑care facility clinical experience as an LVN, MA, CNA, or other patient‑care role Six months of previous X‑ray experience or completion of an internal THR NCT training program (in lieu of experience) Six months of previous experience as a licensed NCT (preferred) Previous experience with electronic health record (EMR), straight‑arm X‑ray, and orthopedic experience (preferred) All NCTs must be registered by the Texas Medical Board upon hire Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas (if LVN) Other certified or registered medical assistants may be hired without MA education (grandfathered) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), maintained every 2 years, required prior to providing independent patient care, within 30 days of hire THR Urine Drug Collector training, maintained every 5 years, required prior to providing independent care, within 30 days of hire Responsibilities Guide consumers and secondary guests through the urgent care visit, ensuring a high quality experience and maximizing throughput Assist provider with care and treatment, laboratory testing, X‑ray examinations, and other duties Perform patient registration, collect payments, room patients, and manage patient discharge Collect identification and payor documentation; register using EPIC workflow Measure and document vitals (temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, etc.) and communicate results to consumer and provider Document chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC Perform and document laboratory testing and collections following provider orders and SOPs (including venipuncture) Administer and document oral and intramuscular medications using the medication verification workflow (medical assistants may administer injections with competency check‑off) Assist provider with procedures such as maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&D, and orthopedic application Perform diagnostic X‑rays within the licensed scope of practice, ensuring proper exposure and image transfer for radiology over‑read Behave professionally and empathetically, build trust and rapport with consumers and guests Welcome and inquire about the purpose of the visit; greet with eye contact, smile, and introduction Identify and notify provider immediately of emergent patients; perform BLS, oxygen administration, and assist in emergency care Schedule primary care referrals for consumers Maintain office, medical, and medication supplies at appropriate levels Perform quality checks throughout the facility per established policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Benefits 401(k) PTO Medical and dental insurance Paid parental leave Flex spending account Tuition reimbursement Student loan forgiveness Other benefits as provided by Texas Health Breeze #J-18808-Ljbffr Texas Health Resources
