CNC Machinist

Overview Swiss CNC Machinist – Location: Wheeling, IL – Night Shift | 5:30 PM – 5:00 AM | 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday) About the Company We are a precision manufacturing company serving the medical device industry. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor multiple Swiss CNC machines in a production environment. Perform routine machine maintenance to maintain consistent performance. Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure part quality. Interpret engineering blueprints and apply basic GD&T principles (training available). Perform visual and manual inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment (training available). Make machine offset adjustments and perform tooling changes per setup instructions. Adhere to all company safety and quality protocols . Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on production and quality updates. Qualifications 3+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machinery. Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings. Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Team-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on feet for the duration of the shift. Proficient in spoken and written English .
