Here, your contributions count and your voice is heard.About the Role:As a Field Service Technician with Burwell, you'll be on the road each day, clocking in from your company-provided service vehicle and heading to customer sites across Montgomery County. You'll service and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, aerial lifts, and other equipment from top brands that keep warehouses running. You'll work independently with a strong team behind you, receive ongoing training, and grow your career with a company that's growing too. If you're hands-on, mechanically minded, and ready to take ownership of your work—we want to hear from you!What You'll Do:Diagnose and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, boom lifts, and other warehouse vehiclesTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, LP/diesel engine, and electrical system issuesUse diagnostic tools such as multimeters and hydraulic gauges to pinpoint and fix problemsPerform preventative maintenance to keep customer equipment running smoothlyService multiple brands including Hyundai, Bobcat, Clark, Genie, JLG, and SkyjackParticipate in manufacturer-certified training to stay up to date on equipment and repair techniquesPromote service offerings like maintenance programs, inspections, and partsInspect and maintain your service vehicle, tools, and inventory for safety and readinessSupport and mentor junior techs when neededSkills & Experience We're Looking For:Prior experience in forklift, heavy equipment, diesel, or automotive repairStrong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systemsFamiliarity with diagnostic software and toolsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and meet the physical demands of the jobValid driver's license with a clean driving recordWillingness to travel within the assigned service territoryBenefits:Competitive pay based on experienceExcellent benefits – Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and 401K with Company MatchProgressive Paid Time Off and Holidays – starting with 3 weeks PTO in your first yearPaid parental leave for moms and dadsOpportunities for growth and internal promotionAnnual Community Impact Day – paid volunteer time in the places we work and liveOur goal is to improve the quality of work life by using fair and consistent treatment and providing equal growth opportunities for all team members.
