What You'll Do

• Provide labor and delivery coverage, including routine management of pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections
• Conduct postpartum rounds and perform emergency gynecologic consultations
• Support staff and collaborate with hospital teams during scheduled shifts
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in approximately 8-10 shifts per month, including weekends and weekdays
• Support limited high-risk obstetrics patients, with transfer protocols for cases under 36 weeks
• Floats to other sites such as Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, and Madison as needed

What You Need

• MD or DO license, with IMLC acceptance
• Board certification in OB-GYN
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• 1-2 years of obstetrics experience preferred
• Key skills: routine labor management, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, postpartum rounding, emergency gynecologic care
• Willing to float to other locations as needed

This assignment involves supporting labor and delivery services at a hospital-based OB-GYN department. You will work primarily during scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, providing essential obstetric care for approximately 500-600 births annually.
