What You’ll Do Inspecting outgoing detailed vehicles Ensuring correct detail has been completed Monitoring the proper use of equipment Updating management on performance for assigned lane(s) Making sure each vehicle is reported as complete using operating systems Maintaining the flow of incoming and outgoing vehicles Verifying assigned lanes have the materials needed to complete details Keeping Tools and Equipment in excellent shape. Observing safety & health procedures. Completing work orders & other vehicle documentation. By the way, a valid driver’s license is a must - we'll need you to drive some of these bad boys from point A to point B. Who You Are First, you’re a safe and capable driver with a track record to prove it. You can drive both an automatic and a manual like a boss. The physical demands required to get a vehicle looking like a million bucks are no problem for you. Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline. OR 5 years' experience in a related field Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump‑starting vehicles.) Preferred 6 months of auction or driving experience preferred. Basic knowledge of auto detailing, paint application processes, and associated repair procedures Knowledge of lot operations/lot layout preferred. Knowledge of LDM preferred. Physical Requirements Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift 1-15 pounds. Must be able to walk long distances. Work Environment Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level (100% outdoors) Compensation Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
