Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule: Day shift; 3x12's from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with consideration for 4x10's from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Call is included with requirements for every third to fourth weekend.

Patient Ratio: 1:1

Requirements: 2 years of experience required, Pre/Post anesthesia care experience required, Epic experience required, Level 1 trauma or outpatient experience preferred, PACU experience preferred, BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred, Previous charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities: Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team, Administer medications and maintain patient safety at all times, Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery, Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
