Maintenance MechanicNesco Resource is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic! The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.Maintain and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and rollers.Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication as needed.Replace worn or damaged mechanical components.Lubricate, adjust, and service production equipment.Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.Assist with equipment installations and modifications.Follow Lockout/Tagout and all required safety procedures.Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.QualificationsPrevious industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, mechanic, or heavy equipment repair experience preferred.Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Knowledge of motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment.Strong attendance and reliability.
