Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current Mississippi State license to practice as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Background working with pediatric populations in academic settings strongly preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized goals for students with speech and language disorders
• Provide direct therapy, create engaging materials, and utilize best practices to ensure student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support holistic student development
• Document assessments, progress reports, and maintain compliance with all required protocols
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the implementation of educational strategies
• Adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs and varying caseloads
