Assembler

Talascend is currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in San Jose, California .


Overview


The assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This role supports efficient production operations while maintaining safety and accuracy.


Responsibilities

• assemble fabricated parts and components at designated workstations following product specifications and work instructions
• use hand and power tools to build and install parts and subassemblies
• test and calibrate components and mechanisms to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with tolerances
• identify defective units or components and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
• follow established procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards
• maintain a clean and organized work environment
• report production or quality issues to supervisors promptly

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0-2 years of assembly or related manufacturing experience preferred
• basic knowledge of assembly processes, tools, and equipment
• ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures
• strong attention to detail and quality
